Meet Dr. Parker
Dr. Michelle Parker has been a Doctor of Chiropractic for 13 years and is a boy-mom. She is the founder of The Chiropractic Place. She is the nerd of the bunch when it comes to childhood trauma, neurodevelopment, lactation, Vagus Nerve Support and All Things Pediatric.
She is a gentle to medium adjuster.
-
Dr. Michelle Parker was raised in Mustang, Oklahoma where she was a high-school athlete participating in soccer, cross-country, cheerleading and graduated in 2004.
She moved to Dallas and earned two Bachelors in Anatomy and in Health and Wellness. In 2010, she graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic with her Doctorate of Chiropractic.
She founded The Chiropractic Place for Mommy and Me in December 2010.
If you know anything about Dr. Parker, her education doesn’t stop. Read why she chose chiropractic to understand more of what propels her to continue to learn.
-
As a teenager, Dr. Michelle Parker suffered from an autoimmunity called Crohn’s. When the medications she was on for a couple of years no longer had an effect, it was recommended for her to have a portion of her colon removed. She had just started seeing a Doctor of Chiropractic for jaw issues. Every time she got adjusted, her stomach felt better and knew there was something to it. Her chiropractor suggested she read a book called, “The Fungus Link” and she changed her diet and put Crohn’s into remission in 2006. It was then that she decided she wanted to be a doctor that looked for the root cause and the body as a whole.
This led her to move to Dallas, Texas where she graduated from chiropractic school. This is also where she met her husband, Dr. Justin Parker.
Her first son experienced a lot of skin issues (eczema and psoriasis), colic, and feeding difficulties. This is what propelled her to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant so she could find out why breastfeeding was so challenging for her and help others in her community.
While she was pregnant with her second son, in 2014, she was diagnosed with POTS, Dysautonomia, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, daily SVT episodes and Hashimoto's. At the same time, the oldest son was diagnosed with Tourette's, ADHD and PANS. This was a whirlwind for her entire family to be on a healing journey hunting for herself and her son. This is why she went on to become interested in functional neurology and nutrition.
After uncovering a dysregulated nervous system from childhood trauma, living in mold, and having Chronic Lyme that had gotten missed, she has continued to heal her family and herself. She is proud to say that both her and her son both do not have any signs of autoimmunity anymore. Each step was directed with the help of Jesus.

She first opened her practice in Arlington focusing on nutrition and chiropractic then moved to Lubbock to be closer to family with the birth of her first son where she worked with AIRROSTI for a couple of years. Life brought her back to the Fort Worth area with the pregnancy of her second son. She became connected to The Chiropractic Place for Mommy and Me as a patient and knew Dr. Michelle Parker in graduate school. After the birth of her second son, she joined the team at The Chiropractic Place and the rest is history.
Read below why she chose Chiropractic and continues to dive deep into nutrition for her family.
-
Dr. Kayla had experienced first-hand health changes with the power of chiropractic that she felt led to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic.
After her own son was suffering from major behavioral & skin issues, she knew she needed to go even deeper with his health to find the root causes. That's when she started taking a more functional & foundational approach to health with chiropractic as the backbone.
After doing more comprehensive functional lab testing & specific nutrition muscle testing, she found that it was mold & parasites that was affecting his ability to heal on the cellular level. After applying specific detox protocols, he has been healing & thriving beautifully. She has also healed her own 20+ year battle with digestive issues using the same nutrition & detoxification approach.
She has made it her mission to help & empower families to holistically heal themselves using a more functional & deeper approach.

Meet Rachel Gabsi
Rachel Gabsi has been a massage therapist that has been specializing in women for the last 20 years. Prenatal, Postpartum and All Things Babies are her jam.
She specializes in CranioSacral Therapy & Massage.
-
She graduated from massage therapy school as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2002 with an additional certification in Medical Massage.
Rachel believes that physical touch is important for all of us being a major part of optimal health and wellness.
Rachel has had an extensive journey with her specializing in infant care, craniosacral therapy, birth, labor and postpartum. Continue to read why she chose to become a massage therapist and how her experience shaped the style of therapist she is today.
-
She witnessed first hand the calm her grandmother would experience when Rachel would put massage lotion on her while she was fighting cancer. Then in her own life, she found pain relief when her physical therapist would do muscle work on her after hurting her back.
Rachel knew the power of touch helped in many ways and wanted to be able to gift that experience back to her community.
She graduated from massage therapy school in 2002, but that was the beginning.
She had experienced the loss of a child with a miscarriage and then the birth of her now teenage son, in 2007. Her birth stories impacted her in many ways that she wanted to do what she could to help other women feel supported during their pregnancy and birth experiences, so she became certified in prenatal massage in 2011. There was a big demand for continued massage therapy care in their postpartum phase of motherhood. Therefore, Rachel completed the training to become not only Postpartum Massage Certified, but also Labor Massage Certified as well.
Taking care of expecting women moved her so much that she then became a certified birth and postpartum doula in 2013. With that passion, she served families all over the North Texas area to this day and now their children with baby massage and craniosacral therapy.
She knew Dr. Michelle Parker and became friends with her in 2012 while being in the same birth circle community. She joined The Chiropractic Place for Mommy and Me as their exclusive massage therapist in 2018. This rest has been history.
